The Edelweiss serves Afternoon tea or happy hour refreshments each day on the upper deck in warm weather. On chilly fall days we invite you to be our guest in front of the warm fire in the great room.

Breakfast at the Edelweiss
The Edelweiss serves a candlelight Vermont breakfast
each morning between 8 and 10 AM (earlier or later to the guests’ convenience). Our offerings always include fresh fruit in season, juice, fresh baked bread and pastries, cold cereals and yogurt, and a variety of hot entrees, including stuffed French toast, Eggs Battenkill, a variety of Omelets, smoked Vermont bacon and ham, or Belgian waffles with fruits and cream. We also feature Green Mountain Roast coffees, or tea and hot chocolate. Breakfast is included in our rates.

Dinner at the Edelweiss
The Edelweiss serves dinner to guests with a 24-hour advance reservation. The Prix Fixe menu includes a selection of Starters such as Smoked Salmon or House salad; entrees include a choice among beef, poultry, seafood, pork, or vegetarian dishes; and our desserts include Strawberries Romanoff, Ice Cream Parfaits, and Fromage, ending with fresh brewed coffee and choice of teas. Menus change with the season.
Prix Fixe – Forty-Two dollars per person (excluding VT tax)
Pre-Performance Dinner
We also offer a lighter pre-performance dinner for those guests who may be planning on attending local musical or theatrical performances in the evening, and want the convenience of dining first. The pre-performance menu is also available for those guests who simply want to dine lighter. Entrees include lighter and smaller portions than the dinner menu.
Prix Fixe – Thirty dollars per person (excluding VT tax).
Dinner at Local Tables
The Edelweiss is happy to make reservations for you at one of several fine restaurants in our area. There is good seafood, Italian cuisine, a 5-star continental restaurant, as well Mexican, pizza, and sports bar -type restaurants. The choice is yours. You can browse local menus before you decide. Most recommended places are only a few minutes drive from the Inn.
